About The Baker

Amy Moore is the owner and cookie artist of Curlicue Bakery. She created Curlicue Bakery in 2012 as a creative outlet in the evenings when her young children went to bed early. From a humble start designing cookie sets for family, friends, and coworkers, the word spread and orders began to come from outside her circle. Amy has always loved cooking, baking, and crafting, so decorating sugar cookies is the perfect medium for all of these combined. Curlicue Bakery is a cottage food bakery based out of her home in West Houston. When she's not piping on cookies, Amy loves to read, try new recipes, watch her five kids participate in soccer, water polo, and FFA, sit outside by the fire pit, and root for the Aggies.

About The Cookies

Curlicue Bakery cookies are thick, soft, and flavored with real vanilla bean and almond emulsion. Every cookie is hand decorated with layers of royal icing. I use fresh, high quality ingredients, and lots of love and detail are put into each cookie. I truly enjoy designing and decorating cookies, and I love helping make your occasion a little more special.

Pricing

My cookies start at $78 a dozen, and the price goes up depending on size, design, number of colors, and packaging. My minimum order is 2 dozen full size cookies. I can also do mini cookies that coordinate with full size cookies. Mini cookies are a cute way to add some variety to your platters. They start at $30/dozen, and my minimum is one dozen minis as an add on to your full size cookies, or three dozen mini cookies. The fastest way to get exact pricing is by emailing me directly, and I will contact you within 48 hours.

Allergens

My cookies contain butter, sugar, eggs, flavorings, and flour. I use vanilla bean paste and almond emulsion. Please note that almond emulsion does not contain almonds, as noted in the link provided here.

I am not able to offer gluten free, dairy free, egg free, nut free, or any allergen free cookies. I bake out of my home, and all these ingredients are present in my home, so I am unable to certify that the cookies would be truly allergen free.

Characters/Copyrights

I operate under the Texas Cottage Food Law, and as such am prohibited from making character or logo cookies to avoid copyright infringement. I do not make exceptions to this. I can design a set of cookies to coordinate with your decorations, invitations, theme, etc. but I do not copy images without permission from the owners of those images. That being said, there any many schools that allow bakers to reproduce their logos and copyrighted material with permission. If there is ample time before your event, I can possibly get permission to do logos, slogans, etc from the college or university.
